Day-by-Day Itinerary
1Kathmandu to Syange
Drive north through lush river valleys toward the Annapurna foothills.
2Syange to Dharapani
Cross the Marsyangdi river and begin the climb.
3Dharapani to Chame
Enter the Manang district, passing the Chame village and hot springs.
4Chame to Pisang
Walk beneath the towering Annapurna II massif.
5Pisang to Manang
Climb to Manang, the main trading town of the valley.
6Manang acclimatization day
Hike to Gangapurna Glacier Lake for superb mountain views.
7Manang to Yak Kharka
Gradual climb into the high alpine zone.
8Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
Approach the base of Thorong La pass.
9Cross Thorong La to Muktinath
Summit the 5,416m pass at sunrise and descend to sacred Muktinath.
10Muktinath to Tatopani
Long descent through Kagbeni and Jomsom; relax in hot springs.
11Tatopani to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara and enjoy lakeside leisure time.
12Pokhara to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu by tourist bus or flight. Trip concludes.
